The more clients or peers have this torrent opened, the faster your download would be. There are some abandoned torrents which no one is seeding anymore. So our suggestion would be to select torrents with higher number of seeds and peers. To get a stable velocity with torrents, you go with one that has countless seeders (uploaders) and comparatively few friends (additionally widespread as leachers). working example, you will likely get extra effective speeds downloading a torrent with 1000 seeds and a couple of hundred friends than you will possibly one with 1000 seeds and 1500 I'm am not asking why this is happening but an explanation of why would be appreciated if you can also solve the problem. I was downloading a large file from torrent and it stopped at 63%. I was using deluge as my torrent client. Since there were enough seeds and enough connections were being made for the torrent to get going but it did not, I thought it was a deluge specific issue, so I got rid of it and installed Vuze (also called azureus) and moved the torrent to it.
